The Riff

Today, in Juneau, Alaska, the dude in charge of crapping out snow must have drank a lot more coffee than his stomach could handle, because it is just dumping outside. This horrid weather inspired me to write a poem about how I dislike the snow. Enjoy, my fellow humans.

[Untitled]

I look outside, a field of white
Winds are blowing with such a might
And all I hope for each and every night
Is behind the clouds, our source of light
I want it to melt away the ice,
And slit the neck of snow with a knife.
Quickly draining whatever life
Left within its corpse
